Upper Diamond Fork Project

The Tanner Ridge Tunnel excavation "holed-thru" today at 1:44 pm. The Tanner Ridge Tunnel is a component of the Central Utah Project, Bonneville Unit, Diamond Fork System. The tunnel was excavated with a Tunnel Boring Machine and is 5,194 foot tunnel is 12.5 feet in diameter. Excavation of the tunnel began in December of 2002 and was completed in 66 days and was completed 3 days ahead of schedule.
